Can I spend down the funds in my DCFSA for expenses incurred after terminating employment?
Yes. If you have a balance remaining in your Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) after terminating employment, you are able to spend down your account through the end of the plan year. Any amounts remaining in the account after the end of the claims submission period for the plan year in which the termination occurred will be forfeited.
