Is there a deadline for submitting claims to my VEBA account?: Yes. VEBA accounts have a claim submission deadline set from the date of the expense. In general, VEBAs have either an 18 month or 24 month claim deadline. For example, if your account has an 18 month claim deadline and you go to the doctor on January 1, 2013, Further must receive your claim by June 1, 2014 to be able to reimburse it from the account.
