- With pay-the-provider, any medical claims submitted through your health plan will automatically be paid from your account to the provider. This means that you don't have to pay for those expenses out-of-pocket and seek reimbursement. You also don't have to worry about paying the bill from your provider. Further will pay it for you. This feature must be allowed by your employer and depends on your health plan coverage.
