Who puts money into my VEBA account?: Your employer allocates money into your VEBA account. In addition, if you have a post-retirement VEBA plan, once you retire, all or a portion of your sick pay, vacation pay and severance pay will be deposited into your account if provided for in your collective bargaining agreement or personnel policy. Contributions to your VEBA account are not included in your gross income. You may not select cash in lieu of your VEBA contribution.
